The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

• Get picked up from your hotel or place of stay at approximately 8 am.
• Head off to Masai Mara and stop at the Great Rift Valley lookout point along the way. Buy souvenirs at the various shops or take photos of the amazing view.
• Stop for lunch in Nakuru town.
• Reach the camp and rest in the evening. Have a few drinks around the bonfire and chat with Masai warriors who patrol the camp at night for protection from the local wildlife.
• There is an option to visit a local Masai village for an additional fee.

Day 02

Full-Day Big 5 Game Drive in Masai Mara

• Get an early start and, after breakfast, head off for a full-day game drive with your Kenyan guide/driver.
• Spend the entire day searching for the Big 5 and enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve itself.
• Have dinner and drinks back at the camp in the evening.

Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

• Enjoy a game drive in the morning.
• Drive back to Nairobi.
