The itinerary

Day 01

Évora Monuments, Local Flavours and Cartuxa Vineyards

• Meet your tour guide and begin your journey at the top of the hill by the Temple of Diana. Take some time for photos and enjoy a walk around the area.
• After spending 15 minutes there, walk along the main street for 40 minutes, lined with souvenirs made from cork, a super typical item to bring home.
• The next main stop is Giraldo Square, where you will spend 20 minutes refreshing yourselves at the local cafés and enjoying a nice fresh drink in the center.
• The next place will be the unique Bones Chapel, with an extended area to visit for about an hour. Here, you will have a fully guided visit.
• For lunch, enjoy the local food in one of the best restaurants in the city. After that, visit the São Francisco Church for 10 minutes.
• The last place, where you will spend an hour or more, will be the magical and delicious Cartuxa vineyards, a delight for wine lovers. You will also have time to book a wine tasting here.
• With the taste of the wine still on your lips, return happily to Lisbon.

Know before you go

• The tour must be booked at least one week in advance because the wine tasting must be booked at least 1 week before the visit.
• The wine tour ticket is paid on the same day of the tour at the vineyard reception. The Cartuxa guided visit has an extra cost of 50€ per person, including wine and tapas.
• For this tour, you will have to buy the tickets after booking the tour, since I need to check the availability of the vineyard.
