Itinerary

1. Day 1: Exploring Luxor's Ancient Wonders

   • Our representative will pick you up from your accommodation in Marsa Alam at 6 am for a comfortable car trip to Luxor.

   • Upon arrival, your private guide will take you to enjoy an Egyptian lunch in a local restaurant before exploring the beautiful and historic city of Luxor.

   • Visit Luxor's East Bank, starting with The Karnak Temple, the biggest temple in Luxor, home to three main temples, several smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples—a testament to the achievements of many generations of ancient builders over 1500 years.

   • The next destination is the Temple of Luxor, a beautiful temple that played a central role during the annual Opet celebrations.

   • After the interesting visit, our driver will take you to the hotel booked for you in Luxor to have some rest.

   • Later, he will pick you up again at about 9 pm to take you to enjoy dinner in a local restaurant in the city, and then back to the hotel to spend the night.

2. Day 2: Balloons, Tombs, and the Nile Adventure in Luxor

   • Enjoy an early start for one of the best experiences in Luxor—the hot air balloon ride. Our driver will pick you up from the reception to join a small group and take you to the hot air balloon ride airport. Enjoy watching the magical sights of Luxor as you drift below.

   • After the magical ride, the driver will take you back to the hotel to enjoy your breakfast. Kindly check out and leave with your luggage when the guide picks you up for the visit after breakfast.

   • Starting with the West Bank, visit The Valley of the Kings. In a world governed by the rules of the afterlife, ancient Egyptians gave much importance to their burial places. The Valley of the Pharaohs, looking like a boring, rocky gorge from the outside, hides its gold and charm underneath. Visitors, upon their arrival at the valley, are rewarded with awe-inspiring inscriptions and astonishing chambers. Be one of them and let’s tour the Valley of the Kings!

   • Moving to the next site, The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. The inscriptions on the walls of the temple express the story of Queen Hatshepsut's birth and her trade trips to Punt, now known as the modern state of Somalia or the Arabian Peninsula.

   • The last stop will be the massive Colossi of Memnon. Enjoy taking many amazing and fun pictures with friends and family.

   • After the unique adventure, the driver will take you to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile before driving you back to Marsa Alam and dropping you off at your accommodation safe and sound.
