Day 01

Grand Egyptian Museum Exploration

In the morning, after breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, our expert Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby.
During your tour of the GEM, you will see Egyptian history from prehistory to the Greek-Roman period through 50,000 artifacts, some of which have never been exhibited.
Some of these collections come from the new excavations of Saqqara, the entire collection of King Tut, and the boat of King Khufu (Solar Boat).
First, you will enter the Atrium to see the colossal statue of King Ramses II.
Then, you will move to the Grand Staircase, which is surrounded by impressive statues of the great kings of ancient Egypt.
At the end of the Grand Staircase, you will find the exhibition halls where the complete Tutankhamun Collection will be displayed.
In addition, four other exhibition halls contain collections reflecting ancient Egyptian history.
