Spend a whole week exploring Kenya's rolling plains in a group no larger than 15. Look for the Big Five in Masai Mara National Reserve, seek out hippos and flamingos around Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, and see big game grazing beneath snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park. Along the way, enjoy a biking safari in Hell's Gate and discover some of Kenya's most celebrated wildlife landscapes in one journey.

Watch elephants bathe in a swamp from the summit of Observation Hill, and you may also see flocks of pink flamingos.

The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

At 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel or airport and begin the drive to Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley. Lunch will be at a traveller's motel. After check-in, relax in the afternoon until evening.
At 4:00 pm, depart for a game-viewing drive in the Mara Reserve until late. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Enkajiang Camp or similar.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Viewing in Masai Mara

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game viewing in this reserve, famous for its great wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, gnus, zebra, and many other animals. All meals are included, and you will stay overnight at Enkajiang Camp.

Day 03

Drive from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, commence the drive to Nakuru, with lunch on the way.
In the late afternoon, check in at Matfarm Hotel or similar, where you will have a chance to swim or relax. Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 04

Lake Nakuru Safari and Hell's Gate Biking Adventure

You will have an early breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park by 7:00 am. The game drive lasts 3 hours.
Depart on a 1-hour drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at a hotel.
After lunch, you will go to Hell's Gate for a biking safari. We will provide the bikes for you, and a car option is also available. This is the only place in Kenya where you can have a biking safari in the park.
You will later go for an optional one-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Astorian Grand Hotel or similar in Naivasha.

Day 05

Naivasha to Amboseli with Afternoon Game Drive

Pick up from the hotel in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its scenery, with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape and open plains. Check in at AA Lodge Amboseli, have lunch, and take a short rest.
Enjoy afternoon game drives in search of its popular residents, including well-known predators and their counterparts such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo, with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, have dinner and stay overnight at Nyati Camp Amboseli.

Day 06

Full Day in Amboseli and Maasai Village Visit

After breakfast, spend a full day in the park with a packed lunch in search of its popular residents, including well-known predators and animals such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo, all with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. If you finish early, you can return to the lodge to relax and have a swim.
You will also have a chance to visit a Maasai village to see the tribe and learn more about their culture. Watch elephants bathe in a swamp from the summit of Observation Hill, and you may also see flocks of pink flamingos. Bring binoculars and a powerful lens for good pictures. Later, return to Nyati Camp Amboseli for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 07

Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning view of Mount Kilimanjaro.
After breakfast, check out and take a short game drive en route out of Amboseli before driving to Nairobi. Lunch will be served on the way at a traveller's motel.
On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport. This marks the end of the tour.
