Choose between two options to reach Hazrat Daud Cave: an intense climb of 1,300 steps, which takes about 1 hour, or a quicker horse/donkey ride of about 25 minutes.
At a height of 1290 meters, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Zarafshan River Valley from the observation deck.
Before descending to Hazrat Daud's cave, visit a small mosque for a brief cultural experience.
Descend 200 steps to reach the entrance of Hazrat Daud's cave. Explore the cave, which is 15 meters high and more than 30 meters deep, and walk through the tunnel to the end, where you can see the handprints and footprints of Daud.
In the afternoon, take a short rest and enjoy the surroundings before starting the descent.
Begin your descent back to Aksai village. If you chose the climb, enjoy the picturesque views along the way.
Arrive back in Aksai, where your driver will be waiting, and transfer to Samarkand with memories of an adventurous day.
