The itinerary

Day 01

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drives and Overnight at St. Catherine Monastery

Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a day of thrilling game drives, renowned as the best place in Tanzania to spot black rhinos and prides of lions, including the magnificent black-maned males.
Marvel at the vibrant flamingos and various water birds inhabiting the area. Keep an eye out for other wildlife, such as leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, members of the antelope family, and small mammals.
In the late afternoon, embark on a drive to St. Catherine Monastery.

Overnight at St. Catherine Monastery, including lunch, dinner, and breakfast, or at a similar accommodation option.

Day 02

Lake Manyara National Park and Return to Moshi or Arusha

After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Witness the striking Rift Valley escarpment as it looms on the horizon when approaching the park from the east, creating an impressive backdrop to the lake.
In the groundwater forest, observe monkeys leaping from branch to branch, while on the escarpment, elephants seek shade under acacia trees.
Encounter zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and more.
In the afternoon, transfer back to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, or head to the airport.
