The itinerary

Day 01

Moshi/Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater Safari

• Pick up from Moshi or Arusha and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos, as well as prides of lions, including the magnificent black-maned males. There are also lots of colourful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game you may see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.
• In the late afternoon, drive to St. Catherine Monastery or similar to enjoy your evening. Overnight at St. Catherine Monastery or similar on a full-board basis.

Day 02

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

• Head out after breakfast for a drive to Serengeti National Park. The word "Serengeti" is derived from the Maasai language, meaning "endless plain."
• En route to Serengeti, you can choose to visit a Maasai village, a perfect place to explore Maasai culture and even participate in some cultural activities.
• Later, enjoy a game drive en route to your camp. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp or similar.

Day 03

Full-Day Game Viewing in Serengeti

• After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti's wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch beside you, enjoy this World Heritage Site, where the earth's largest concentration of plain game still roams free.
• In the late evening, return to Serengeti Wildebeest Camp or similar for rest, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Serengeti Safari and Return to Moshi/Arusha

• After breakfast, proceed for a half-day game drive in the Serengeti. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha or Moshi.
