The itinerary

1

Day 01

Nairobi to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

• Pick-up at 8:00 a.m. from your preferred location within Nairobi Central Business District.
• Proceed to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Here, you will have a breathtaking view of the picturesque floor of the Rift Valley. You will also spot Mt Longonot from a distance before continuing to Maasai Mara, arriving at the camp for lunch.
• Your camp is located 10 minutes from the Ololaimutia Gate, and you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Maasai Mara Reserve, then head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Rhino Tourist Camp or a similar place.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

• Enjoy an early breakfast at the reserve, followed by a full-day game drive. All of the Big Five - elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, and leopard - can be spotted during the safari.
• Lunch will be served along the Mara River. If it is during the wildebeest migration, you will wait along the Mara River as the wildebeest and zebras cross the river, then later return to Rhino Tourist Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

• After breakfast, you can choose an optional 2-hour visit to a Maasai village near the Ololaimutia Gate. Later, depart for Lake Nakuru with lunch en route. Mt Longonot and Lake Naivasha can be seen from afar along the main highway.
• Arrive in the late evening at Matfam Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Matfam Hotel or a similar property.

Day 04

Lake Nakuru Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

• On the last day, enjoy breakfast followed by a half-day game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. You can witness thousands of flamingos nesting along the shores throughout the year, and watching the shoreline turn pink is an absolute treat for the eyes. During the game drive, you may also spot a variety of antelope and other protected species such as the Colobus monkey and rhinos.
• Afterward, head back to Nairobi with lunch on the way. This is the last leg of the safari, with about a 3-hour drive remaining to Nairobi. Drop-off will be at your preferred location in Nairobi by the afternoon.
