Day 01

• Depending on your arrival time, you may have some free time to explore Kigali or relax.

Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

• After breakfast, depart for Volcanoes National Park, approximately a 2-3 hour drive.
• Check in to Garden Palace Hotel or Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel.
• Rest and prepare for the gorilla trek the next day.

Day 03

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

• Depart early in the morning for the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking.
• Begin your gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park, guided by experienced trackers and guides.
• Spend an hour with the gorilla group once located.
• After trekking, return to your hotel, Garden Palace Hotel or Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel in Musanze town.
• Optional afternoon activities include visiting local communities or exploring the nearby Musanze Caves.

Day 04

Twin Lakes Visit and Return to Kigali

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Musanze town.
• Head to the stunning Twin Lakes, Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo. The drive takes you through picturesque scenery and offers breathtaking views of the lakes and surrounding hills.
• You can take a boat ride on one of the lakes (optional) and enjoy the area's tranquillity.
• Explore the lakeside communities and interact with the local people.
• Have a picnic lunch by the lakeside.
• In the afternoon, drive back to Kigali.
