Day 01
Experience the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve
- Depart for the Jan Jacobus Coetzee and Regina Motloung Site.
- Visit the Old Bantu Education School and Coetzee Sport.
- From here, continue to Modise Rock.
- Next, explore Marakele National Park, a Big Five and Small 5 park that is home to the world's largest breeding colony of Cape Vultures.
- Take in the scenic beauty and splendid fauna and flora, then depart for the Marakele Predator Centre. Here, you will see an abundance of wildlife, including lions, Kalahari and White lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, and tigers, to name a few.
- Head to Thabazimbi to buy snacks, drinks, and other utensils, then return to the Marakele Snake Park to see various reptiles, including the deadly and famous Black Mamba.
- Depart for Marakele National Park for a sundowner safari game drive in search of the Big Five and other exciting wildlife, followed by a safari bush braai. Enjoy a meal in the bush under a galaxy of stars, while the Tourist Guide shares information about the stars, general astronomy, and storytelling.
- Return to the lodge.
