Asan Market Local Walking Tour
- After breakfast at your hotel, we will start our journey from Thamel, taking a local/public bus to reach Ratnapark, which is one of the centres of Kathmandu valley from where you can see Dharhara too.
- We will then visit the Sankata Temple, a very famous temple of Kathmandu Valley.
- We will also be visiting Nepal's oldest Durbar High School, Veer Hospital and Rani Pokhari, which is also an archaeological site.
- Then we will enter the very busy market of Kathmandu, where we will find endangered Nepalese food, dishes and goods, as well as selling modern goods. This is a very crowded and chaotic market. You will also find adjusted goods and decorations, which is the speciality of this market. This market is primarily a Newari settlement; therefore, you will find plenty of Newari dishes/clothing/living, etc., in this area.
- After buying some goods (if you want) and wandering around the Asan Bazar, we will enter Thamel through the inland route, which is again a very famous tourist destination. Thus, we will complete this tour in about 3-4 hours.
