Day 01

Dunedin City Highlights and Otago Peninsula Albatross Tour

Depart from the Octagon, outside the Dunedin Visitor Centre.
Join a scenic drive from Port Chalmers to Dunedin City and hear the story of Dunedin. This applies to cruise ship passengers.
Visit the steepest street in the world.
Enjoy views of the city from a local lookout point.
Have a guided stroll through Dunedin Upper Botanic Garden to marvel at the rhododendron dell, appreciate the size these plants can reach, and see the bird aviary with some NZ native birds.
Stop at Otago University.
Drive through George Street, the city's main shopping area, and the Octagon, the heart of the city.
Stop at First Church of Otago.
Stop at the Dunedin Railway Station, one of the most photographed buildings in New Zealand.
