Visit Christ Statue

Afternoon sightseeing:

Jesus Christ Statue – Visit one of Vung Tau’s most iconic landmarks, the majestic Jesus Christ Statue standing atop Nho Mountain. Rising 32 meters high with an arm span of 18.4 meters, it is considered one of the tallest statues of Christ in Asia. Guests will climb a series of steps leading up the mountain and have the opportunity to ascend inside the statue to a viewing platform located in its shoulders. From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Vung Tau City, the sparkling coastline, and the vast East Sea. Along the way, take in the peaceful surroundings, admire the impressive architecture, and capture stunning photographs of this renowned religious and cultural monument.

Thắng Tam Temple

Built from the late 19th century, also known as Ong Nam Hai Temple, it faced many times of renovation for its current appearance. It boasts ancient architecture and simple exterior features. Inside are three altars of elaborately carved the four holy beasts included the Vietnamese dragon (Long), the Qilin (Lân), the Turtle (Quy) and the Phoenix (Phụng).

Bach Dinh (White Palace)

Explore one of Vung Tau’s most elegant historical landmarks, Bach Dinh, also known as White Palace or Villa Blanche. Built between 1898 and 1902 during the French colonial period, this magnificent mansion showcases classic European architecture with its white façade, arched windows, spacious balconies, and beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the sea. Originally constructed as a retreat for French governors and later used as a residence for several prominent historical figures, the palace offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s colonial past.
