The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Mexico City and Historic Center Tour

Welcome to Mexico City! Our staff will greet you at the airport and assist with your transfer and hotel check-in.
You will then enjoy a tour of the main streets of Mexico City, beginning in the Historic Center, where the "Gran Tenochtitlan" of the Aztec Empire was established and which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit the Zocalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, and the Palace of Fine Arts, among other landmarks. Along Reforma Avenue, you will see several monuments that have shaped the city's identity, such as the Angel of Independence, the Diana Cazadora, and the recent Column of the Bicentenary.
Afterwards, continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most important pilgrimage center in Mexico, the most important Marian sanctuary on the continent, and one of the most visited places in the Catholic world, receiving more than twenty million pilgrims each year. In the evening, head to the Guadalajara de Noche restaurant in Plaza Garibaldi, where authentic Mexican food is served.
The evening continues with a live performance of folk dances and a mariachi band. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Mexico City.

Day 02

Major Temple Museum and Museum of Anthropology

Breakfast at the hotel. Then transfer to the Major Temple Museum, where you will tour pre-Hispanic and colonial Mexico, visiting rooms that house archaeological remains such as the monoliths of Coyolxauhtli and Tlaltecuhtli, as well as the Huey Tzompantli altar.
Later, continue to the Museum of Anthropology, one of the most important museums in the world. It brings together the most extensive archaeological collection of the cultures of Mesoamerica, with pieces such as the "Stone of the Sun," also known as the Aztec Calendar, and the "Coatlicue," among many others. Through its 23 exhibition rooms, you will learn more about the thought, life, and culture of the different civilizations that developed in ancient Mexico before returning to the hotel.
Overnight in Mexico City.

Day 03

Teotihuacán and Ballet Folklorico de México

Begin with breakfast at the hotel. Soon after, depart for Teotihuacán, the "City of the Gods," and visit its most outstanding buildings: the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, with free time to climb to their tops, the Palace of Quetzal-Mariposa, the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, and the Causeway of the Dead, among others.
In the afternoon, continue to the Palace of Fine Arts to witness the famous Ballet Folklorico de México. For three hours, you will be captivated by dance choreographies representing Mexico's past and present, along with the contagious energy of the dancers in their vibrant costumes.
To end this unforgettable evening, head to the revolving Bellini restaurant, where you will enjoy an exquisite menu high above the capital. Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 04

Xochimilco Canal Experience

Breakfast at the hotel. Then head toward the south of the city and arrive in Xochimilco, which in Nahuatl means "Campo de Flores" and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will then board a traditional and colourful boat, a typical wooden trajinera, to navigate its mystical canals that have existed since pre-Hispanic times, when the Valley of Mexico was distinguished by its many lakes and lagoons.
After lunch, board the trajinera.
Later, return to the hotel.

Day 05

Cuernavaca and Taxco Day Trip

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Taxco, visiting Cuernavaca, the "Eternal Spring," known for its warm climate and buganvilias.
Visit the Cathedral, built as a mission in 1552, one of the oldest in the country and representative of the viceroyalty period. You will also enjoy a panoramic view of the Palace of Cortés, ordered to be built by Hernán Cortés in the years immediately following the Conquest of Mexico.
Arrive in the Magical Village of Taxco, a picturesque colonial and mining town set on a hill, with winding cobblestone streets, cosy squares, reddish tile houses, and a solid old-world atmosphere that has survived for hundreds of years. It is famous for its silver craftsmanship.
Visit the Church of Santa Prisca, one of the largest in Mexico, built in 1759 by the French immigrant José de la Borda.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Time to visit silversmiths.
Return to Mexico City. Overnight in Mexico City.
