Day 01

Penang Hill, Heritage Museums, and Padang Kota Flavours

  • 10.00 am - You will be picked up at the meeting point or your hotel.
  • 10.30 am - 12.15 pm - Arrive at Penang Funicular Station and tour Penang Hill. Take the Habitat Penang Hill 4X4 (optional) to enjoy views of the island city from 2,733 feet above sea level, feel the cool breeze at the top of the hill, and stroll through the flora and fauna habitat in the tropical rainforest.
  • 12.30 pm - 1.00 pm - Visit the Upside Down Museum and experience the first of its kind in the world. Challenge your visual balance as organized life is turned upside down through its interior and exterior settings.
  • 1.00 pm - 1.30 pm - Reach Magic World Penang, a small-scale theme park that combines magic and movie tricks. If you have ever wanted to be a magician, this is a place you should visit.
  • 1.45 pm - 2.15 pm - Explore the Penang Peranakan Mansion, a typical house of the rich Babas of the last century, recreated to offer a glimpse of their lavish lifestyle, customs, and traditions, with over 1,000 pieces of antiques and period collections on display.
  • 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm - Lunchtime. Try delicious Penang street food such as Laksa, Mee Curry, and Asam Laksa, as well as Passembur, which ranked 7th in CNN's 10 Best Foods in the World, and the famous Chendol located in Padang Kota. You can try various street foods here.
  • 3.30 pm - 5.00 pm - Optional: visit the famous chocolate and coffee shops for souvenirs. Alternatively, take a walk and discover Penang's street art murals or uncover 3 hidden gems.
  • 5.00 pm - You will be transferred safely back to your hotel or the meeting point after a wonderful experience in Penang.

Day 02

Tropical Fruit Farm, Creative Attractions, and Batu Ferringhi Fun

  • 10.00 am - You will be picked up at the meeting point or your hotel.
  • 10.30 am - 12.15 pm - Visit the Tropical Fruit Farm. Penang Tropical Fruit Farm has Southeast Asia's largest collection of fruits, with an active area spanning 25 acres in the northwest of Penang, Malaysia. With over 200 species of edible fruits identified, it aims to promote the amazing flora of Malaysia through education and information. The farm is situated about 800 feet above sea level on the hilly terrain of Teluk Bahang in Penang, making it an ideal location for cultivating many types of tropical and subtropical fruit trees. The orchard was developed in 1993 with several objectives in mind.
  • 12.30 pm - 1.30 pm - Have a fun time at Penang Butterfly Farm, the world's first live tropical butterfly sanctuary, featuring a nature park with live butterflies of various species and small reptiles living in their natural habitat. With its recent rebirth as ENTOPIA, experience nature's largest classroom and discovery hub, where butterflies and insects are free to come out to play in an entomological utopia.
  • 1.30 pm - 2.30 pm - Enjoy your time at the Penang Toy Museum, located at 1370, Mk 2, Teluk Bahang, next to SJK (C) Eok Hua School, Penang, Malaysia. With more than 110,000 toys, dolls, and other collectible items, it is the largest toy museum in the world. The 1,000-square-meter museum, which opened in 2005, was also recognized by the Malaysian Book of Records as the first toy museum in the country and receives an estimated 100,000 visitors each year.
  • 2.30 pm - 3.00 pm - Pay a visit to the Penang Batik Factory, the only handmade batik producer in Penang, and well worth a visit. You will be able to see batik being made, including the actual painting and wax pouring process, and you can buy beautiful handmade products in the shop. Penang Batik produces an array of unique hand-drawn batik and hand-block-printed batik, as well as a combination of both called hand-painted batik. Flora and fauna motifs are the main subjects adopted in the design of hand-drawn batik.
  • 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm - Enjoy a wonderful fishing charter trip in Teluk Bahang and stop near Monkey Beach (optional), or experience horse riding by the beach at Batu Ferringhi Beach. This is a unique experience not to be missed while staying at Batu Ferringhi. The rides are suitable for all levels of experience and offer stunning views of the coastline.
  • 4.00 pm - 5.00 pm - Enjoy some popular water activities in Batu Ferringhi, including jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides.
  • 6.00 pm - You will be transferred safely back to your hotel or the meeting point after a wonderful experience in Penang.
