Day 01

Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City Walking Tour

• Meet your tour guide in front of the Beijing Urban Planning Center at 10:00 am and enter Tian'anmen Square using the travel agency's fast pass. Follow your guide to explore the surrounding buildings, including the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and more.
• Walk past the Tian'anmen Gate and enter the Forbidden City through the Meridian Gate. The Forbidden City is the world's largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex. Follow your guide through its various courtyards and halls as you delve into the history of the palace and the Ming and Qing dynasties. You will visit the most important buildings along the middle axis, as well as a few courtyards in the west chamber.
• Lastly, visit the Imperial Garden, where your tour will end. You may choose to continue exploring the Forbidden City on your own, or your tour guide can advise you on where to catch a taxi to your next destination.
