3-Day Mikumi National Park Wildlife Safari from Dar es Salaam

• Get picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and depart for Mikumi National Park, where you will have lunch.

• Proceed on an evening game drive in the park, which is home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, hartebeests, crocodiles, lizards, and other wildlife. Over 300 species of birds can also be observed in this park.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Tanswiss Hotel.

• Leave for game drives in the park, known for its varied vegetation of woodlands, swamps, and grasslands, as well as two water holes called Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hamerkop, and malachite kingfisher, you may also find the monitor lizard and a deadly python inhabiting these pools.

• Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and some rest. Later, head out again for an evening game drive until sunset.

• Take an early morning walking safari inside the park.

• Head back to the hotel for brunch.

• Return to Dar es Salaam with a stopover in Morogoro Town for lunch.
