Visit Kinabalu Park, Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most important biological areas, on this 10-hour tour from Kota Kinabalu. Travel through Sabah's scenic countryside and mountain ranges to Poring Hot Springs, a lowland rainforest resort near Ranau that contrasts with the montane and submontane rainforest of Kinabalu National Park. Along the way, stop at Nabalu market and pass through Kundasang, Sabah's vegetable-growing valley. The tour combines rainforest views, the Treetop Canopy Walkway, hot springs, and the Mountain Garden in Kinabalu Park.

The itinerary

Day 01

Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Springs Exploration

08:00 am - Pick up from the hotel and drive through the scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. Make a brief stop at Nabalu market to buy local handicrafts and local fruits.
09:30 am - Continue through the mountainous range to reach Poring Hot Springs, passing by Kundasang, Sabah's vegetable-growing valley.
10:30 am - Arrive at Poring Hot Springs. Hike for 20 minutes to reach the Treetop Canopy Walkway and experience a height of 41 meters above the forest floor and a length of 157.6 meters. Enjoy a bird's-eye view of the rainforest. Then, take a dip in the outdoor Japanese-style bathtub, where the sulfuric hot water is believed to have medicinal value for your skin.
01:30 pm - Have lunch.
02:30 pm - Proceed to Kinabalu Park.
03:00 pm - Visit the Mountain Garden and learn about the different types of plants, trees, and flowers from the local community.
04:00 pm - Return to Kota Kinabalu and drop off at the hotel.
