Religious Tour
Pick up from Kusadasi port or hotel with a signboard with the tourists' name written on it.
- Drive from the pier through the Aegean countryside and arrive at the House of Virgin Mary, where the Blessed Virgin is reputed to have spent the last years of her life. The site was made famous by the travels of Pope Paul VI and Pope John Paul II. Outside is the Fountain of our Lady, providing the faithful with water from the holy fountain.
- Take a short 15-minute ride to the entrance to Ephesus. After passing by the Magnasia Gate, enter the administrative section of the ancient Ephesus.
- Go on a guided walking tour to see one of the most magnificent excavations in the world. See the Odeon, Fountain of Trajan, five terraces of the Apartment House, Steam Baths of Scolastika, and Temple of Hadrian.
- Explore the impressive Library of Celsus, which is adorned with columns and statues and is considered some of the most magnificent ruins in the city and the ancient world.
- See the Grand Theater, where St. Paul preached, also the largest theatre in antiquity with a capacity of 24,000 seats.
- Return to the A/C Van through the Arcadian Way, where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession.
- Take some time out for browsing and shopping, once back in town.
