Laguna 69 Trek through Huascarán National Park
- Departure: 05:00 am. Depart from Huaraz by private or shared transport heading north through the Callejón de Huaylas to Yungay, where you will enter Huascarán National Park.
Note: Each client must bring their own snack, as there is no lunch stop. You may bring fruit, sandwiches, water, chocolate, snacks, and similar items.
- Breakfast: Breakfast at a tourist restaurant in Huashao near the national park. After entering Huascarán National Park, continue into the Llanganuco ravine and pass the Chinancocha and Orconcocha lagoons. There will be a brief 10-minute stop at Chinancocha Lagoon for photos before continuing to Cebollapampa, where the trek begins. The hike includes approximately 3 hours of ascent and 2 hours of descent, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the landscape beneath the mountains.
- Arrival at Laguna 69: At Laguna 69, you will be able to appreciate the majesty of the snow-capped Chacraraju, rising to 6,108 metres above sea level.
- Return: Return to Cebollapampa, where the vehicle will be waiting, and travel back to Huaraz along the same route, arriving at approximately 07:00 pm.
