A private Northern Lights tour typically lasts about 4-5 hours and begins in the evening.
Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel or designated meeting point in a comfortable vehicle. From there, your guide will take you to the best viewing location based on weather conditions and aurora activity. This location could be anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours away.
Once you arrive at the viewing location, your guide will set up camp with a warm shelter, chairs, and blankets. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning display of the Northern Lights in the dark Arctic sky while your guide shares information about the science and history of this natural phenomenon.
To keep you warm during the tour, your guide will provide warm refreshments such as hot chocolate. After the Northern Lights experience is over, your guide will drive you back to your hotel or designated drop-off point.
