Day 01

Arrival in Arusha and Hotel Transfer

• Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport.
• He will be waiting for you outside the exit with a name sign.
• He will bring you to Grand Melia Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay.
• Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari proper.

Day 02

Arusha National Park and Walking Safari

• Today, our guide will collect you after breakfast from your hotel in Arusha to start your safari.
• He will brief you about the safari, the schedule, and what to expect.
• The drive to Arusha National Park will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour.
• In the afternoon, you will embark on a walking safari in the park and experience the beauty of Tanzania's wildlife up close and personal.
• With the guidance of an experienced and knowledgeable ranger, you will venture off the beaten track and explore the park's lush forests and open savannahs on foot.
• At the end of the day, your guide will bring you back to Arusha, where you will overnight at the Grand Melia Arusha.

Day 03

Tarangire National Park Safari

• Your guide will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Arusha.
• The drive to Tarangire National Park will take about 2 hours.
• Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way.
• If you have never been to Tarangire, and even if you have, you're in for a real treat.
• Your guide will take you off the beaten track and share stories about the park and the natural world around you.
• As you enjoy your meal at the picnic site, the sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves in the wind will add to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the moment.
• Later, we leave Tarangire behind us and drive towards the beautiful Heart & Soul Lodge.
• In the evening, your guide will take you to the hotel, where you will overnight at Maramboi Tented Lodge.

Day 04

Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive

• Where the plains of northern Tanzania meet the Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a wonderful place to spend a safari day.
• Your highlights for the day might include getting up close and personal with the elephants that made this park famous, lots of baboons, as well as one of the few lion populations in Africa that spend much of their time in the trees.
• Between the forests at the foot of the escarpment and the lake that gives the park its name, enjoy rich birdlife and the chance to see predators ambush their prey.
• After your afternoon game drive, it's time to head to our next destination for the night: Kitela Lodge.
• It offers comfortable rooms situated throughout lush gardens.
• Dive in and relax at the swimming pool.

Day 05

Serengeti National Park Exploration

• We will depart after breakfast and head towards Serengeti National Park, where we will arrive around lunchtime.
• The Serengeti is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations.
• We will explore the vast plains in search of the Big Five and other animals.
• The Serengeti's scenery is also unforgettable - observe Africa's iconic acacia trees, the park's golden grasslands, and great piles of boulders known as kopjes.
• As the sun sets, the magic of the Serengeti continues - the journey back to your lodge is a breathtaking experience filled with the enchanting hues of the setting sun.
• As you make your way through the park, you might catch glimpses of more active wildlife in the evening hours.
• The changing colours of the sky and the warm glow of the setting sun add to the moment's magic.
• You will stay overnight at Melia Serengeti Lodge, located in the central part of Serengeti National Park.
• You can enjoy an entire game drive in the Serengeti the next day.
• In the evening, we will go back to Melia Serengeti Lodge.

Day 06

Sunrise Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro

• Today, we wake up early and start the day with a beautiful sunrise game drive.
• There's something truly magical about experiencing the African wilderness at sunrise, and a sunrise game drive is one of the best ways to do so.
• The early morning is an incredible time to spot some of the park's most elusive and active wildlife, including lions, leopards, and hyenas.
• The cooler temperatures and softer light create the perfect conditions for a memorable safari adventure, as you journey through the park's vast savannahs and grasslands.
• In the afternoon, it will be time to head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, as you traverse winding roads through breathtaking scenery.
• In the evening, you will overnight at Lions Paw in Ngorongoro.

Day 07

Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

• This unique natural wonder is home to an incredible array of wildlife, from herds of grazing antelope to majestic lions and towering elephants.
• Journeying through the crater on a game drive, you'll have the chance to spot some of the park's most iconic species, including black rhinoceros, hippos, and wildebeest.
• Your experienced guide will share insights into the ecology of the region, as well as stories and facts about the fascinating behaviours of the park's many species.
• The Ngorongoro Crater is a particularly special location for a game drive due to its enclosed nature.
• Surrounded by towering walls, the crater forms a natural amphitheatre that makes it easy to spot a wide range of wildlife.
• You'll travel through lush forests and open savannahs, taking in breathtaking views of the crater floor and its many inhabitants.
• In the afternoon, we'll drive back to the hotel, where you will overnight at Kitela Lodge.
• Tomorrow, a new adventure awaits you!

Day 08

Lake Eyasi Bushmen Tour

• After breakfast, you'll depart for Lake Eyasi, embarking on a bushmen tour.
• Enjoy a hot lunch during the day.
• Later, check in to Kisima Ngeda for dinner and your overnight stay.
• Lake Eyasi hosts small groups of Hadzabe bushmen whose language shares similarities with Kalahari's click languages.

Day 09

Lake Eyasi Experience and Flight to Zanzibar

• You will wake up early in the morning and go hunting with the bushmen.
• Then, you will get back to the lodge for breakfast.
• Afterwards, you will depart and drive back to Arusha, where lunch will be served en route.
• Later in the evening, you'll transfer to the airport for your Zanzibar trip for the rest of your holiday.
• Upon arrival, you'll meet our driver, who will take you to the Marumaru Hotel in Zanzibar for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 10

Relaxation and Optional Excursions in Zanzibar

• You will have 3 full days to relax at the stunning beaches.
• Here, you also have several tour options that you can add for an additional fee, depending on your preference.
• There are private boat excursion tours to visit Prison Island and enjoy a picnic on the Nakupenda Sandbank, swim with the dolphins, explore Jozani Forest, and visit a spice farm or the historical sights of Stone Town.
• Or you may indulge in a day of relaxation at the resort's spa or yoga retreat, choosing from an array of rejuvenating treatments including massages, facials, and body scrubs.
• You will spend 3 nights on this incredible beach at the Mora Hotel.

Day 11

Departure from Zanzibar

• On this day, take one last dip in the pool or stroll along the beach before departure.
• Depending on your departure time, your driver will be at the reception ready to take you to Zanzibar Airport for your journey back home.
