The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Safari

0700hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel, residence hotel, or Nairobi airport. Drive toward Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa Road over the African savanna country, dotted with local homesteads and colourful Masai herdsmen who graze their cattle. The journey takes under 4 hours. Arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, head into the park for a prolific game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebra, lions, cheetahs, warthog, ostrich, and many other animals.
Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding countryside, showing its majesty with its snow-capped peak as you marvel at the wildlife and scenery.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 02

Sunrise Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

An early morning game drive is among the best times to see Mt Kilimanjaro. The early morning light reveals Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped summit. See elephants crossing the Amboseli plains at dawn, a timeless African image.
After game viewing, return to the lodge for breakfast and depart for Nairobi.
