One of the most famous places to visit in Vancouver, Stanley Park will blow you away with its greenery and beauty from the moment you enter. It was the first area explored in Vancouver and is an abode to everything related to nature. Stanley Park is the oldest park in Vancouver, where you can spend a quiet evening with your partner while soaking in the view of the golden sunset. There are beaches in the park where you can relax and take a stroll on the shimmering white sand. If you are hungry, the park also has amazing options for you and your partner.

The totem poles are carved with animals and supernatural beings that represent family crests and tell stories. One famous legend is that of the trickster Raven, who steals the sun from Sky Chief and brings the sun, moon, and stars to humans. These animals are not ordinary - they can transform into humans and are spiritual guardians with special powers and skills. Frog brings good luck and is treated with deep respect. Sea Bear is part bear and part killer whale. Thunderbird is especially powerful - he beats his wings to make thunder, lightning comes from his eyes, and he snatches up big whales to eat.

A steam clock is a clock that is fully or partially powered by a steam engine. Only a few functioning steam clocks exist, most of them designed and built by Canadian horologist Raymond Saunders for display in urban public spaces. Beneath downtown Vancouver runs a series of steam pipes connected to a generating plant at Georgia and Beatty Streets. This system provides heat to much of the downtown core and supplies the steam for the whistles of the Gastown Steam Clock.

Vancouver Lookout is one of my favourite spots in the city. It is one of the top Vancouver attractions, and on a clear day, you get such a good view from up here. You can see the North Shore Mountains and beyond, Mt. Baker, and the ocean - it is beautiful.
