- Stop At: Stanley Park Causeway, Vancouver, British Columbia V6G 1Z4 Canada
One of the most famous places to visit in Vancouver, Stanley Park will blow you away with its greenery and beauty from the moment you enter. It was the first area explored in Vancouver and is an abode to everything related to nature. Stanley Park is the oldest park in Vancouver, where you can spend a quiet evening with your partner while soaking in the view of the golden sunset. There are beaches in the park where you can relax and take a stroll on the shimmering white sand. If you are hungry, the park also has amazing options for you and your partner.
Duration: 1 hour - Stop At: Totem Poles, Vancouver, BC V6G 3E2, Canada
The totem poles are carved with animals and supernatural beings that represent family crests and tell stories. One famous legend is that of the trickster Raven, who steals the sun from Sky Chief and brings the sun, moon, and stars to humans. See how many ravens kids can find on the totem poles here in Stanley Park.
These animals are not ordinary - they can transform into humans and are spiritual guardians with special powers and skills. Frog brings good luck and is treated with deep respect. Sea Bear is part bear and part killer whale. Thunderbird is especially powerful - he beats his wings to make thunder, lightning comes from his eyes, and he snatches up big whales to eat.
Duration: 20 minutes - Stop At: Vancouver Seawall, Vancouver, BC V6G 3E2, Canada
One of the most romantic places in Vancouver, the Seawall is perfect for couples who love long walks with their partners and talking for hours about anything and everything. Its marvellous surroundings and status as the longest uninterrupted waterfront path in the world make for a spectacular combination for you and your significant other. Do take a bottle of water and walk along the side of the path, and enjoy the beautiful sunset view at Pineapple Stone.
Duration: 30 minutes - Stop At: Gastown, Waterfront between Granville and Main Sts. North of Hastings St., Vancouver, British Columbia V6B 2K7 Canada
Gastown is recommended if you are in the area and want a quick stroll, are looking for a great restaurant, or want to find a good gift shop for souvenirs. The district's main thoroughfare, Water Street, is lined with quaint shops, including excellent tourist souvenir stores and great restaurants.
Duration: 30 minutes - Stop At: Steam Clock, 305 Water St, Vancouver, British Columbia V6B 1B8 Canada
A steam clock is a clock that is fully or partially powered by a steam engine. Only a few functioning steam clocks exist, most of them designed and built by Canadian horologist Raymond Saunders for display in urban public spaces. Beneath downtown Vancouver runs a series of steam pipes connected to a generating plant at Georgia and Beatty Streets. This system provides heat to much of the downtown core and supplies the steam for the whistles of the Gastown Steam Clock.
Duration: 20 minutes - Stop At: Sunset Beach, 1204 Beach Ave, Vancouver, British Columbia V6E 1V3 Canada
Beaches offer some of the most beautiful views and sunsets. If you want to spend time with your partner surrounded by turquoise water and golden sand while basking in the sun, Sunset Beach makes an excellent spot. You can also take a picture with the background of the famous sculpture by artist Bernar Venet. All set to laze around the beach and cuddle with your bae?
Duration: 1 hour - Stop At: Robson Street, Robson Street, Vancouver, British Columbia
Heading to Vancouver and hoping to make each moment special for your partner? One of the most romantic places in Vancouver awaits you here, and it is all about fun, ice, and holding hands. The Robson Square Rink is a great spot to spend time with your significant other. If you are already good at ice skating, get ready for an enthralling time, but if you are both new to it, you can learn right at the rink. So, how about surprising your beloved with an ice-skating lesson?
Duration: 30 minutes - Stop At: Grouse Mountain, 6400 Nancy Greene Way, North Vancouver, British Columbia V7R 4K9 Canada
Considered one of the most romantic places in Vancouver for couples who love thrilling activities, Grouse Mountain is located in North Vancouver. There is something about winter that makes a romantic vacation even more special, with all the cosy moments and warm hugs. So, if you are in Vancouver during the winter and want to challenge your inner adventure junkie, Grouse Mountain is an ideal spot. From skiing to snowboarding, everything with a fun element exists here. If you are a first-timer, you can easily take lessons as well.
Duration: 2 hours - Stop At: Vancouver Lookout, 555 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia V6B 4N6 Canada
Vancouver Lookout is one of my favourite spots in the city. It is one of the top Vancouver attractions, and on a clear day, you get such a good view from up here. You can see the North Shore Mountains and beyond, Mt. Baker, and the ocean - it is beautiful.
Combine it with dinner and/or drinks for an excellent date-night idea in Vancouver.
