The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Kabul

Airport pickup in Kabul at 6 pm.
Meet your guide and receive a short briefing about travelling in Afghanistan.
Check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Safi Landmark Hotel Kabul.

Day 02

Kabul National Museum, Sakhi Shrine, and Babur's Gardens

After breakfast at 7 am, proceed to Kabul National Museum. Its collection was once one of the most important in Central Asia, with over 100,000 items dating back several millennia. At the start of the civil war in 1992, the museum was looted numerous times, resulting in the loss of 70% of the collection. Since 2007, a number of international organizations have helped the Afghan government recover more than 8,000 artefacts.
Continue to Sakhi Shrine (Hazrat Ali Mausoleum), also known as the Blue Mosque.
Visit Babur's Gardens, a peaceful oasis in a chaotic city.

Dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay at Safi Landmark Hotel Kabul.

Day 03

Drive from Kabul to Bamyan

Breakfast at 07:00 am. Head to Bamyan at 8 am from Kabul. It is a four-hour drive.
Lunch at a restaurant in Gholghola.
Sightseeing at the Buddha complex.

Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Gholghola.

Day 04

Band-e-Amir Lakes Excursion

Breakfast at 07:00 am. Head toward Band-e-Amir at 08:00 am.
Lunch in a local cave in Band-e-Amir, followed by a full day exploring the lakes.
At 04:30 pm, head back to Bamyan for dinner and an overnight stay in Gholghola.

Day 05

Return to Kabul

Breakfast at 07:00 am.
At 08:00 am, start driving toward Kabul. Lunch at Bukhara Restaurant.
After lunch, continue with the Kabul city tour.

Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 06

Parwan Excursion to Top Dara Stupa and Jabal Saraj Palace

Breakfast at 07:00 am. At 08:00 am, head toward Parwan to visit Top Dara Stupa, one of the Buddhist sites. Lunch at a local restaurant in Charikar.
After lunch, visit Jabal Saraj Palace.
Head back to Kabul for dinner and an overnight stay in Kabul.
