Arusha National Park is located near Arusha Town before Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The spectacular and wonderful Arusha National Park is made possible by its incredible range of flora and fauna. The Lakes of Momella, which feature marshes, meadows, and montane forests, are located in Arusha National Park between Mount Meru and Ngurduto Crater. Tropical rainforest covers Mount Meru's mountain slopes, creating a striking contrast close to Arusha National Park.

Itinerary

Arusha National Park
- We depart early in the morning from Moshi/Arusha for a one-hour wildlife drive in the Arusha National Park. Next, we embark on a half-day walking safari in Tanzania, followed by a half-day game drive. A knowledgeable, armed ranger will lead you on a walking tour through the forest to the waterfall where you can see black and white colobus monkeys. You will be able to see the Ngurduto Crater and the Lakes of Momella during the game drive. Along with other bird species, you can see buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and gazelles. In addition, leopards and elephants, which are less common in Arusha National Park than in the Serengeti, may be spotted.
- We will carry on with our game drive in the park till afternoon and then drive back to Moshi/Arusha Town.

Weather and Clothing

The best time to visit Arusha National Park is during the dry season, from June to October, when the weather is cool and dry. The park can be visited year-round, but the rainy season, from March to May, can make the roads and trails muddy and difficult to navigate. It is essential to dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes or hiking boots.

Safety Precautions

As with any wildlife park, safety is a top priority. Visitors should stay in their vehicles at all times and follow the instructions of the park rangers. It is also essential to keep a safe distance from the wildlife and not approach or feed them.

Permits and Fees

A valid entry fee is required for all visitors to Arusha National Park. The fee includes a guide and a 4x4 vehicle for the day. Visitors can also purchase a park permit, which allows them to enter the park multiple times within a year.
