Day 01
Usk, Abergavenny, and Goytre Wharf
We begin in the delightful small town of Usk, where we will visit the quirky museum and the castle with its lovely garden.
We then head to a church with some fabulous wall coverings.
For lunch, we will be in Abergavenny, where we will see the tapestry in the tithe barn and visit the Priory Church next door. A short walk brings us to the castle, where there is an optional visit inside the museum.
On our way back, we will call into Goytre Wharf and hear about the industry in the area and the history of the canal.
