Day 01

Bodrum Highlights and Sunset at Gümüşlük Bay

  • Accompanied by your private driver and guide, start your day with a visit to the ancient Theater of Halicarnassus, an age-old structure.
  • Continue to Myndos Gate, the only surviving entrance to the ancient city.
  • Your next stop is the region's symbol, the historic Windmills, standing proudly on top of a hill overlooking both the islands on the horizon and downtown. This is the best spot to take plenty of photographs.
  • To put a checkmark on your bucket list, head to the remains of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
  • As you make your way into the old city, stop at Saint Petrium, a medieval fortress built by the Hospitaller Knights of St John.
  • This building is also home to Turkey's unique Underwater Archeology Museum, which hosts many ancient shipwrecks and artifacts obtained during the first underwater archaeological excavations in human history.
  • A 25-minute drive will take you to Palmarina in Yalıkavak, home to hundreds of mega yachts.
