3-Day Lake Mburo National Park Safari with Boat and Horseback Ride

• Depart from Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park after breakfast.
• Drive to the park with a stop at the equator for an opportunity to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time.
• Proceed through the savannah grasslands, observing banana plantations and herds of local long-horned Ankole cattle common to this part of the country.
• Upon arrival at the park, check in at the reserved lodge.
• Have lunch, after which you will go for a boat launch on Lake Mburo to see animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Wake up early and enjoy a warm cup of tea before heading out for a game drive through the park in search of wildlife such as zebras, hippos, crocodiles, elands, antelopes, impalas, and a variety of bird species.
• Return to your lodge for breakfast, then head out for a nature walk with an experienced guide. Walk to the salt lick area, which offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals.
• Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

• After breakfast, head out for a horseback ride of shorter duration to see the animals at close range while on horseback.
• Afterwards, have lunch and check out to start the return journey to Kampala, arriving in the late afternoon.
