Itinerary

1. Day 0: Arrival in Arusha via Kilimanjaro International Airport

   Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. This day is primarily for you to settle in, relax, and prepare for the upcoming safari adventure. You will have a briefing with your tour guide and fellow travellers, where you will receive important information about the itinerary and safari activities. Afterwards, you can enjoy a leisurely evening, savouring your first taste of Tanzanian cuisine and resting comfortably at your Arusha accommodation.

2. Day 1: Tarangire National Park

   Your 5 days on Tanzania sharing safari begin with a journey to Tarangire National Park. After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire, renowned for its iconic baobab-studded landscape and diverse wildlife. A full day of exhilarating game drives awaits, providing opportunities to witness elephants, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species. You will savor a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by the natural beauty of Tarangire. 3. Day 2: Serengeti National Park

   An early start takes you to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, with a captivating drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti is known for its boundless plains and extraordinary wildlife, including the Great Migration, during certain times of the year. In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive, immersing yourself in the vastness of the Serengeti and observing the rich wildlife. You will spend the night at a lodge or camp in the heart of the Serengeti, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on the day’s wildlife encounters.

4. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

   Today, you will dive deeper into the wonders of the Serengeti. A full day of game drives allows you to explore different regions of the park, providing ample opportunities to witness the Great Migration (season-dependent) and encounters with the Big Five. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, staying energized as you continue your exploration. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation in the Serengeti, where you can unwind, enjoy dinner, and share your experiences with your fellow travellers.

5. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

   An early start takes you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you will spend the day wondering at the unique and diverse ecosystem within the crater’s walls. A picnic lunch will be served within the crater, offering a unique dining experience surrounded by wildlife. In the afternoon, your journey continues to Lake Manyara National Park. An evening game drive in Lake Manyara is a highlight, known for its birdlife and the possibility of spotting tree-climbing lions. As the day ends, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

6. Day 5: Lake Manyara and Departure

   Your day begins with breakfast at your Lake Manyara accommodation. You will have the morning to enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara, taking in the park’s lush surroundings, diverse birdlife, and scenic lake. After the morning adventure, you will have lunch and prepare for your departure.
