Mekong Delta Ben Tre Full-Day Tour
7:00-7:30 am | Get picked up from your accommodation in the city center to the Mekong Delta, Ben Tre City. On the way, you will pass by beautiful rice paddy fields.
10:30 | Take the long boat ride on the Mekong River, the motherland of coconut, to understand how the locals not only have coconut for juice but also for other products like coconut candy and coconut oil.
11:30 | Discover the local culture of the South and see how the locals live their lives. Observe lively activities on the waterway, including cargo boats, fishing boats, various fish traps, and handicraft factories for coconut processing.
12:00 | Visit the brick factory where the soil is sourced from the bottom of the river.
12:45 | Cycle (taking a Tuk-tuk is optional) through the coconut groves of the village to see how the locals make sleeping mats.
1:30 pm | Enjoy a set menu of delicious Southern local lunch at the riverside family home. After lunch, you might experience the highlight of the trip: take a rowing boat, paddled by local people, on the amazingly beautiful coconut canal in Ben Tre.
2:30 pm | Take one more boat ride to the boat station and head back to the city, finishing at 6:00 pm in Saigon.
