Transfer to the train station in Libreville in the late afternoon to board the Transgabonais Railway train heading to Lopé National Park.
Depart in the evening for a scenic train journey through Gabon's forest landscapes.
Spend the night on board the train.
Arrive early in the morning at Lopé train station and meet the local team before transferring to the hotel for check-in and breakfast.
Depart in the afternoon for a 4x4 safari in the savannah areas of the park to observe wildlife such as forest elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys, and various bird species.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Depart after breakfast for a primate trekking expedition in the forest, accompanied by experienced guides and trackers.
Continue trekking deeper into remote areas of the park in search of groups of monkeys and other primates.
Set up the first bivouac camp in the forest and enjoy dinner, followed by an overnight stay in tents in the heart of nature.
Wake up in the forest and enjoy breakfast at the camp.
Spend the day tracking and observing primates in the forest.
Have dinner at the camp and spend the second night in bivouac.
Trek back to Lopé village after breakfast and transfer to the hotel to freshen up and have lunch.
Transfer in the afternoon to the train station to board the Transgabonais Railway for the return journey to Libreville.
