Day 01
Wadi Fanja Stop and Wahiba Sands Desert Adventure
- We will leave Muscat and head toward the Wadi Fanja photo stop. From there, we continue driving to a Bedouin House, where the tents are divided by a decorative partition called a gata. Half of the tent is for the women and children, with cooking utensils and storage, where we can have Omani coffee and dates. After that, you can experience camel riding, which was used by local Bedouins for transporting goods. We then continue for a quad bike experience, where you get the ultimate adrenaline rush. There is nothing more exciting than quad biking on the sand, and you can also do sand boarding on the dunes as an adventurous sport, similar to snowboarding. It is a great way to explore the desert dunes before heading back to Muscat.
