Maasai Village Visit and Chemka Hot Springs Experience
After an early morning breakfast, drive along the highway from Moshi or Arusha to the small town of Bomang'ombe, then continue on a dust road for about 30-45 minutes through the local villages. Along the way, you will pass green vegetation supported by irrigation from various stream channels. The village is also decorated with beautiful baobab trees with unique features.
Upon arrival at Rundugai village, you will sign the village guest book and receive a briefing about the village. After that, you will meet your local guide, who will take you to a Maasai village for the tour. As soon as you arrive at the Maasai village, you will be welcomed by the great songs of Maasai women and shown where to sit. At this point, your local guide will explain Maasai culture in detail. You can also dance, visit their houses, and take pictures with them.
After all the enjoyment and excitement, you will return to your car and drive to other local places in the village to enjoy your local lunch in African style. After lunch, continue to the hot spring for a refreshing experience. It is among the best natural water springs found in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. Spend most of your time here swimming and resting on the mattress. Have a nap, go back to swimming until your body says yes, it's enough, then get into the vehicle and start driving back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
