3-Day Masai Mara Safari from Nairobi with Mara River and Game Drives

Get picked up from your residence in the morning and drive to the world-famous and most visited game reserve, the Masai Mara, via the Great Rift Valley.

Stop at the viewpoint for photography and sightseeing.

Proceed to the lodge and arrive in time for lunch.

Spend some time at leisure, watching resident game within the vicinity.

Later in the evening, embark on a game drive within the greater Mara ecosystem with your Kenyan driver/guide. This is one of the best times for wildlife viewing, as most animals emerge after the heat of the day. Watch out for the big five - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo - as well as cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, giraffes, and many others in plenty.

Return for dinner and an overnight stay at the camp as you listen to the sounds of nightlife in the wilderness and watch for nocturnal animals, including the elusive leopard.

After breakfast, set off for a full-day game drive with your packed lunches. This gives you a greater chance of spotting diverse wildlife, including the black-maned lions for which the Mara is well known, along with plenty of other animals.

Visit the banks of the Mara River, the crossing point during the great wildebeest and zebra migration.

Thereafter, enjoy an optional visit to the Masai Cultural Homestead. Learn about and enjoy their century-old culture and traditions, preserved through generations.

At an extra cost, the driver/guide will assist you in negotiating with the Masai senior.

Join them in their colourful songs and dance, then return for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out early in the morning and enjoy a game drive en route.

Later, exit the park and drive back to Nairobi.

Arrive in the late afternoon after a wonderful safari - end of the tour.
