Itinerary

1. Day 0: Arrival

   • We will pick you up from the Airport from Kilimanjaro to Arusha for an overnight stay, and brief you on the safari that is to start the next day.

2. Day 1: Tarangire National Park

   • From Arusha, begin the journey to Tarangire National Park (The mini Serengeti), passing through Arusha Town for a full game drive. Later, drive to Mto wa Mbu for overnight as we recap what we saw in Tarangire for the next day's safari. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient Baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country, providing unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. 
   • We will do a night game drive through the park, depending on reported sightings of animals (mostly predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as they are harder to spot), while herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, etc. are plentiful to see throughout the park. 
   • Later, drive to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay.

3. Day 2: Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, you will drive from the Hotel to Serengeti, which transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
   • Stop at: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region.
   • We will briefly stop at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the crater.  Late afternoon game drive then drive to Serengeti Serena Hotel for an overnight stay.

4. Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

   • After an early breakfast, we will go on an early game drive, seeing a lot of animals until afternoon, when we will head for a picnic lunch and continue doing a game drive as we exit the Serengeti, heading to Ngorongoro.

   Overnight at the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

5. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

   • After an early breakfast, we will descend into the crater (6:15 a.m.) on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater, as most other animals will be easier to spot in this park due to its unique geography as a crater floor. This tour will take a maximum of 6 hours game drive then drive to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay.

6. Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park

   • Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel, and the guide will provide you with a short briefing about the whole safari. 
   • Afterwards, you will start your drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This small park stretches a long way via the high Rift Valley escarpments, which are occupied by the alkaline lake. Water birds gather around the lake, and there are over 400 bird species found in this park. Its vegetation provides a good habitat for many animals like monkeys, antelopes, giraffes, and grassland elephants, which live around the acacia trees.
   • Later, we will do a game drive out of Lake Manyara, heading to Arusha for departure.
