The itinerary

Day 01

Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lake Adventure

8:00 - Departure from the hotel. The guide will meet you in the hotel lobby.
10:30 - Arrival at Charyn. First, drive up to the panoramic viewpoint and take photos against the backdrop of the entire canyon. Then go down for a 2 km walk inside the canyon. The trail is wide and very comfortable.
12:00-13:30 - Drive to Kolsai Lake. There will be a stop along the way to admire the panorama of Black Canyon. Stop at a guest house for a hearty traditional-style lunch and Kazakh tea.
14:00-15:30 - Visit Kolsai Lake. The road from the village is about 12 km. Please take your passport with you.
15:30-19:00 - Return to Almaty.
