- We pick you up in any of the cities mentioned and drive to Buea. On arrival, check in at the Marithon Hotel and prepare for the hike.

Hike on one of Africa's largest active volcanoes to the summit of Mount Cameroon via the Guinness Race Track. Cross the May 2000 eruption crater and walk on black lava sand formed by the cooled lava from the violent 1982 eruption. Trek through forest, savanna, and the elephant area at the lake, with sweeping views over Buea, Limbe, Douala, and Equatorial Guinea. The tour ends with lunch in Buea before departure.

The itinerary
Day 02
Buea to Hut 2 Trek
- After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Upper Farms in Buea. We start trekking at 1,015 m above sea level and hike through the dense forest and savanna to arrive at Hut 2. This is a nice camp with modern eco-lodges equipped with solar electricity.
- We will sleep at the lodges and enjoy beautiful views of Buea, Limbe, Equatorial Guinea, Douala, and more. At night, the stars brighten the sky.
Day 03
Summit Hike and Return to Hut 2
- After breakfast, we hike to the summit. After taking some pictures, we descend back to Hut 2 for another night.
Day 04
Descent to Buea and Departure
- After breakfast, we descend to Hut 1 and then continue to Upper Farms in Buea. We go for lunch at a restaurant.
- Departure from Buea. We will drop you at your hotel in Buea or at the bus station in Buea.
End of tour.
