Makhtesh Ramon Jeep Adventure and Mt. Gvanim Views
Visit Makhtesh Ramon, a remarkable geological feature of Israel's Negev Desert. Located at the peak of Mount Negev, about 85 km south of the city of Beersheba, this landform is neither an impact crater caused by a meteor nor a volcanic crater formed by an eruption, but rather the world's largest erosion cirque.
Climb the trail to the amazing observation point at Mt. Gvanim.
Drive across the crater on the pipeline road and visit the Be'erot campground for refreshment.
Also visit one of the rehabilitated quarries.
