Day by day
Your guide will meet you at the hotel at 9:00 am. Visit the largest Tibetan monastery, Songzanlin Monastery, and learn more about Tibetan culture and Buddhism. Have lunch, then visit the grassland and a Tibetan family. Experience a Tibetan family visit and try yak butter tea before returning to Shangrila's old town.
Meet your guide at the hotel at 9:30 a.m. and drive about 2.5 hours to Tiger Leaping Gorge. If weather permits, hike for about 4 hours in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Have lunch with a local family, then stay overnight at a guesthouse in Tiger Leaping Gorge.
Have breakfast at the hotel, then hike for about 3 hours in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Visit the famous Tiger Leaping Rock before driving to Lijiang. Spend the evening exploring Lijiang's old town, enjoying a walk and the charm of the old town at night. Overnight in Lijiang old town.
Meet your guide at the hotel at 9:00 am. Visit Black Dragon Pool Park and Yuhu Village, where you can see the former house of an American botanist. Explore Baisha Village and its ancient architecture, try local snacks, and interact with local people. In the afternoon, visit Shuhe. Overnight in Lijiang.
Drive for about 4.5 hours to Lugu Lake and enjoy mountain and river scenery along the way. Check in to the hotel, then visit Lovers' Beach and Luoshui Village. Have dinner near Lugu Lake and consider joining the local bonfire dancing after dinner.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the lakeside and take a wooden boat on Lugu Lake. Visit a Tibetan monastery and return by boat, then explore Lige Island Viewpoint and Namu's Palace. Spend the evening at Lugu Lake.
Wake up in the morning, enjoy breakfast, and drive back to Lijiang. In the afternoon, enjoy your leisure time in Lijiang or Shuhe.
