Day 01

Grand Egyptian Museum Discovery Tour

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo in a private air-conditioned car to begin your tour and visit one of the most famous museums in the world.
Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum. During your tour of the GEM, you will see Egyptian history ranging from prehistory to the Greek-Roman period through 50,000 artifacts, some of which have never been exhibited before. These include collections from the new excavations of Saqqara, the whole collection of King Tut, and the second boat of King Khufu (Solar Boat) for the first time.
First, you will enter the Atrium to see the colossal statue of King Ramses II. Then, you will move to the Grand Staircase, surrounded by impressive figures of the great kings of ancient Egypt.
At the end of the Grand Staircase, you will find the exhibition halls, where the complete Tutankhamun Collection will be displayed. In addition, the other four exhibition halls contain collections reflecting ancient Egyptian history. At the Grand Egyptian Museum, you will enjoy a unique experience, as you will be able to use HoloLens technology to interact with the museum collections.
