The itinerary

Day 01

Cluj-Napoca, Turda Salt Mine and Sighisoara

Pick up from Cluj-Napoca airport or your hotel.
Visit Turda Salt Mine.
Visit Sighisoara, an architectural jewel and Europe's last remaining inhabited medieval citadel, a UNESCO monument.
Overnight in Sighisoara.

Day 02

Brasov, Bran Castle, Poienari Fortress and Horezu

Today, visit the town of Brasov and see the Black Church, then head to Dracula's Castle in Bran.
This is the place where the action of Bram Stoker's Dracula novel takes place.
Then visit Poienari Fortress, where, according to legend, Vlad the Impaler tricked the Turks.
The final stop of the day is Horezu, where Horezu Monastery, a UNESCO monument, will be visited.

Day 03

Horezu, Targu Jiu, Corvin Castle and Cluj-Napoca

Visit Corvin Castle, where Vlad the Impaler was jailed by the Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus. It is one of the largest castles in Europe and appears on lists of the Seven Wonders of Romania.
Visit the sculptures made by Brancusi in Targu Jiu, such as the Kiss Gate, Endless Column, and Table of Silence.
Return to Cluj-Napoca.
