Day 01
Early Morning Hanoi Markets, Landmarks and Coffee
- The tour will commence at approximately 4:30 a.m. Your tour guide and car will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Flower Market in Quang Ba, located about 5 km from the Old Quarter. Here, you will witness the bustling scene of buying and selling beautiful, colourful flowers from all corners of the country. Feel free to purchase some fresh flowers at very reasonable prices.
- After leaving the Flower Market, the car will take you to Ba Dinh Square. Here, you will observe the solemn flag-hanging ceremony featuring soldiers in white army uniforms, accompanied by grand army music. You can also stroll around the square in front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum while your tour guide shares insights into Ho Chi Minh and his remarkable career.
- Next, the car will take you to a restaurant in the Old Quarter, where you will relish one of the best beef pho dishes in Hanoi.
- The tour will then continue to some renowned sites in the French Quarter, such as St. Joseph's Cathedral, the Opera House, Sofitel Metropole Hotel, Indochina Bank, and the Governor's Palace. At these locations, you will pause briefly to enjoy Hanoi's famous ice cream while your tour guide narrates the history of Hanoi and its formation.
- The final destination is a must-visit coffee spot by Hoan Kiem Lake, where you can savour hot or cold coffee of various types, including egg coffee, milk coffee, black coffee, and an array of fresh fruit juices.
