The itinerary

Day 01

Boat Safari to Ngamba Sanctuary

This trip will start with an early pick-up by our professional guide, who will transfer you to Entebbe for your boat safari to Ngamba Island. You will board the early speed boat that will take you across Lake Victoria while you watch the fresh waters, fishermen at work, and different bird species.
On your arrival at Ngamba Sanctuary, you will be briefed on the history of the island and information about the sanctuary.
You will then head into the sanctuary to view the chimpanzees from a closer range. You will be able to observe different chimpanzee behaviour and watch them eat.
After watching the chimpanzees for several enjoyable hours, you will visit the nearest restaurant for lunch and refreshments.
In the evening, you will walk to the lakeshore for sunset bathing and enjoy the calm, fresh water breeze while watching different bird species.

Day 02

Return Speed Boat to Entebbe

You will start your day with breakfast at your convenience and get ready to board the speed boat at 11 a.m. for your return to Nakyogo in Entebbe. During the boat ride, you will see many bird species on the lake as well as fishermen.
Upon arrival at Nakyogo, you can pick a fresh fish just removed from the water, and it will be prepared immediately for your lunch.
After enjoying this amazing feast, you will be taken to your next accommodation or to the airport for your next flight, which will mark the end of our services.
