The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Iğdır

• Arrival in Ygdyr (you can optionally travel by van, in which case the transfer is paid separately).

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02

Drive to Eli and Trek to Camp 1

• After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the village of Eli.
• Then begin the ascent to the first camp at 2200 m, which takes about five hours.

Overnight at camp.

Day 03

Acclimatization Climb to Camp 2

• Breakfast in the morning. Ascend to Camp 2 at 4200 m, then descend back to Camp 1.

Day 04

Move to Camp 2 and Prepare for Summit

• Move to Camp 2 at 4200 m, pitch tents, and prepare for the climb.

Day 05

Summit Mount Ararat and Descend

• Start early for the summit of Mount Ararat at 5137 m, then descend to Camp 1 at 3200 m.

Day 06

Descend to Eli and Return to Hotel

• After breakfast, pack up the camps and descend to the village of Eli, then transfer to the hotel in Ygdyr.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07

Departure from Ygdyr

• Return to Ygdyr.

• Hotel in Van. Accommodation in 2-3 bedded rooms. Length of stay depends on the timetable.
