Itinerary

1. Day-1: Arrival in Kathmandu - 1300m

   Today, you will arrive in Kathmandu by landing at Tribhuvan International Airport. Our company representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. During the day, you can quickly visit the city as there are no scheduled events. We will host you a welcome dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

2. Day-2: Drive from Kathmandu to Namobuddha via Dhulikhel| (1750m)

   Wake up early and catch a ride that takes you out of Kathmandu Valley and into the revered Buddhist destination of Namobuddha. The history of Namobuddha dates back thousands of years when Buddha gave his life to a hungry tigress to prevent her from devouring her own cubs. After visiting the beautiful monastery that sits on top of a hill, we can hike around the area. Overnight in Namobuddha.

3. Day 3: Drive Back to Kathmandu and Visit Boudhanath & Kapan Monastery

   After breakfast, we will drive back to Kathmandu and then head towards the major UNESCO World Heritage Site of Boudhanath. This stupa is a major pilgrim point for the Buddhists and is the largest in the nation. You can see many Tibetan monks and people praying. Later, we head to Kapan Monastery, which sits atop Kapan Hill. The monastery is known for its natural scenery of the hills surrounding the Kathmandu Valley and its immense significance to the Buddhists in the country. Overnight in Kathmandu.

4. Day-4: Visit Swayambhunath and White Gompa of Ramkot (1450m)

   We have two destinations to sightsee on this day. First, we head to Swayambhunath, a hilltop temple revered by Buddhists and Hindus. The small hill thrives in monkeys and local birds. There are small temples, monasteries, and shrines here. From the stupa, you can see most of Kathmandu Valley. Later, we shall head to White Gompa of Ramkot. It also sits on a hilltop; from there, we see Nagarjun, Shivapuri, and Godavari hills. After spending some time in peace among the hills, we head back to our hotel.

5. Day-5: Drive to Lumbini (150m)

   We head towards the main attraction of this tour, the birthplace of Lord Buddha in Lumbini, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We cruise along the Prithvi Highway, which later joins the East-West Highway. The drive will take most of the day so upon arrival in Lumbini, we head straight to the hotel. If time permits, you can explore the locales around this Terai city. Overnight in Lumbini.

6. Day-6: Lumbini Sightseeing

   Today, we explore the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha and visit the remnants of the palace in which he was born and raised. We will also visit the Maya Devi temple, which is the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. The famous Ashoka Pillar, which dates back to 249 BC alongside the temple, is said to indicate the actual birth site of Lord Buddha. The Lumbini area is quite large and houses many monasteries from different Asian countries. Overnight in Lumbini.

7. Day-7: Drive back to Kathmandu - Farewell Dinner

   From Lumbini, we shall get on a private vehicle and head back to Kathmandu. The drive from Lumbini goes through the amazing East-West highway, which later joins the Prithvi highway. After a drive of 8 hours, we will reach Kathmandu. The tour has come to an end. At Kathmandu, we can head to the local market and shop for gifts and souvenirs or choose to rest. 8. Day-8: Departure
