Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kasese

   • Welcome to your three-day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park! Your journey begins as we pick you up from your hotel in the nearby town of Kasese. We drive through the lush countryside, enjoying scenic views of rolling hills and traditional Ugandan villages. Upon arrival at the park, we enter our comfortable lodge and indulge in a delicious lunch.
   • We embark on an exciting game drive through the park's vast savannah plains in the afternoon. Keep your eyes peeled for iconic African wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, lions, and giraffes. Our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the park's diverse ecosystem and the behaviours of its inhabitants.

2. Day 2: Boat Safari

   • After a hearty breakfast, we set out on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. As we glide along the tranquil waters, marvel at the immense variety of bird species and observe hippos, crocodiles, and elephants bathing at the water's edge. The boat safari offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography, so have your cameras ready!
   • We embark on a nature walk through the beautiful Maramagambo Forest in the afternoon. Immerse yourself in the lush surroundings, listening to the birdsong symphony and watching for primates, including chimpanzees. The forest also houses the famous bat cave, where thousands of fruit bats roost, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle.

3. Day 3: Departure

   • Our final day begins with an early morning game drive, allowing us to witness the park's wildlife awakening in the golden light of dawn. Watch predators on the prowl and spot elusive species such as leopards and hyenas. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for a sumptuous breakfast.
   • Before bidding farewell to Queen Elizabeth National Park, we will visit the breathtakingly beautiful Kyambura Gorge. This remarkable natural wonder is home to a community of habituated chimpanzees. We have the opportunity to trek into the gorge and observe these intelligent creatures up close, an experience that promises lifelong memories. However, you need to add an extra amount for the chimpanzee permit.
   • After the chimp trek, we conclude our tour and embark on the journey back to Kasese. With cherished memories of the park's abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes, you depart with a deep appreciation for the natural wonders of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
