The itinerary

Day 01

Arusha to Tarangire's Elephant Country

• After breakfast, you'll embark on a thrilling safari in a 4x4 Land Cruiser to Tarangire National Park, known for its abundant elephant population and diverse wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, and more. It's a wildlife haven rivaling the Serengeti. Following a full day of exploration, you'll be transferred to your lodge for dinner, a cozy shower, and an overnight stay at Marela Valley Hotel.

Day 02

Lake Manyara's Birdlife and Tree-Climbing Lions

• After breakfast, your driver/guide will prepare a picnic lunch in a 4x4 safari jeep. A short 30-minute drive leads to Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its size, it offers diverse landscapes and abundant birdlife, including flamingos and storks. The park is unique for its tree-climbing lions, along with baboons, buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes. After a full-day game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Marela Valley Hotel.

Day 03

Ngorongoro Crater Wildlife Experience

• In the morning, your driver/guide will transfer you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After registration, descend into the crater for enchanting game viewing. Known as "the eighth wonder of the world," the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's best-known wildlife arenas.
  The UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes, and forests of the land. During your game drive inside the crater, you will most likely see black rhinos, leopards, wonderful black-maned lions, and many flamingos. After the crater, you will be transferred to Arusha, where you will have the option to overnight in Arusha or be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.

• This tour starts and ends in Arusha.
• This operator can help select your international or domestic flights, but you'll have to book them yourself.
• Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) near Arusha, or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).
• A transfer from and back to the airport is included.
• Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
• Please note that the Serengeti wildebeest migration is seasonal (May-July).
