Travel to Lake Mburo and Game Drive
• Travel to Lake Mburo National Park - After an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will be picked up by our company representative who will be your driver guide, and you will set off from Kampala or Entebbe at 6:30 am to head to the western part of Uganda to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes 3-4 hours with a stopover at the Equator to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres simultaneously. You will continue through the savannah grasslands dotted with settlements, plantations, and several herds of local long-horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country.
• Game Drive in Lake Mburo National Park and Transfer Back to Kampala - Upon reaching Lake Mburo National Park, you will embark on a game drive in search of plains game like zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala, and a variety of birds. After the game drive, you will have a lunch break, followed by another short game drive before exiting the park and returning to Kampala. You will arrive in Kampala late in the evening.
